Day 1: Arrive on the east bank
Settle in, then Luxor Temple after dark when it is lit.

Day 2: Karnak
At opening, before anyone else. Afternoon on the river.

Day 3: Valley of the Kings
Three tombs, plus Tutankhamun, then Hatshepsut's terraces.

Day 4: Free day
Balloon at dawn if you want it; otherwise, the museum and the souk.

Day 5: Home
A last felucca and the flight north.
About this trip
